Flower Care
How to arrange your flowers
Our bouquets are all hand-tied, so they can be put straight into a vase without any further arrangement. Our arrangements are delivered gift wrapped, to provide the very best presentation.
- Fill a clean vase with cold water and the correct amount of the enclosed flower food.
- Removing packaging and cut approx. 3cm from the end of the steams at an angle.
- Remove all leaves that will be below water level
- Place your flowers in the prepared vase
- Place your vase in a bright, cool place, away from direct sunlight and any heat source.
How to care for your flowers
Check the water level daily and replace with fresh water and more flower food at least twice a week. Remove any faded blooms or foliage.
NB. Placing the flowers in a draught or near any source of heat will reduce the life of your flowers.
Roses - To revive a drooping rose, wrap paper around the stem for support. Re-cut the stem, plunge into 5cms of boiling water for 1 minute and then place into deep, cold water for 2 hours.
Lilies - Pollen from lily stamens can stain clothes and damage wooden surfaces. Remove stamens carefully with scissors before placing them on display.
